Ruth Lucinda Morris age 7 later married Calvin M. Messamore. Ruth's parents were Reuben A. Morris age 33 and Sarah (Sally) Anderson age 27. Calvin M. Messamore was the son of John Messamore Sr. and Elizabeth (Betsy) Minton. John was the brother of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore. John moved from Tennessee to Illinois in 1852, and so Calvin age 11 was enumerated in Tennessee in the 1850 census. |
