James Charles Messamore was the son of John Messamore and Elizabeth (Betsy) Minton.  As such, James was the nephew of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore.  The birth places for both Henry and Edward should have been listed as IL TN IL.

James' wife was Luvinia Hagler.

Charles Tallifero (Tallifero) Messamore was the son of John Messamore and Elizabeth (Betsy) Minton.  As such, he was the nephew of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore.

Elizabeth Alice (Alice) Tweedy was the daughter of James M. Tweedy and Charlotte Bizzel Craig.

The widow Elsa Davis was Martha Elsa (Elsa) Messamore.

James Irving (Irving) Messamore was the son of Charles Tallifero (Tallifero) Messamore and Elizabeth Alice (Alice) Tweedy.  James was the grandson of John Messamore and Elizabeth (Betsy) Minton.  John was the brother of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore.

Ann Elizabeth was Irving's second wife, notwithstanding the fact that the census says it was his first marriage.

Charles W. Messamore was the son of Charles Tallifero (Tallifero) Messamore and Elizabeth Alice (Alice) Tweedy.  Charles was the grandson of John Messamore and Elizabeth (Betsy) Minton.  John was the brother of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore.

Charles' first wife Ann (Annie) McDaniel died in 1899.  He married Ella about 1902.

This census entry is in error inasmuch as Ethel's father was born in Tennessee instead of Illinois.

Ethel's husband was Dennis Sidney Bevil.

Reuben Andrew Morris was the son of Sylvanus John (Sib) Morris and Minerva Messamore.  Minerva was the daughter of John Messamore and Elizabeth (Betsy) Minton.  As such, Minerva was the niece of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore.

Reuben's wife was Nellie Davis.  Their first two children were Lela Marie Morris and Alice Manerva Morris. Alice was no doubt named for her grandmother Minerva Messamore.
