Thomas Means Reneau and James Ramsey were my sixth great grandparents. I am descended through their daughter Narcissus (Cessie) Reneau. Thomas was born in Virginia and he died in Harrison County, Indiana. Jane was born in Pennsylvania and she died in Harrison County, Indiana. Thomas was listed on the 1800 tax list for Jefferson County, Tennessee. Cessie was married in 1801 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. So Thomas and Jane must have lived in Tennessee for a while before moving to Indiana. Thomas was the son of John Reno and Susannah Thorn. I do know know who the parents were for Jane. |
