William H. (Bill) Wells age 24 was the son of Phillip Hancher Wells and Ida Rhoda Cole, and the grandson of my second great grandparents William Cole and Vesta Clay (Vestie) England.  As such, Bill was the nephew of my great grandmother Sallie Jane Cole and the first cousin of my grandfather Ernest Lester (Lester) Peters Sr.

George Edgar Wells age 19 was Bill's younger brother.  Bill and George apparently had moved to Detroit because of jobs in the automobile industry.  But Bill was married on 21 Jul 1920 in Knox County, Tennessee.  So he apparently returned to Tennessee shortly after the 1920 census.

Luther Brown Wells age 30 was the son of Phillip Hancher Wells and Phillip's first wife Sarah J. Minge.  Phillip married second Ida Rhoda Cole.  Aunt Ida was the daughter of my second great grandparents William (Will) Cole and Vesta Clay (Vestie) England.  As such, Aunt Ida was the sister of my great grandmother Salle Jane Cole, and Luther Wells was the half brother of Aunt Ida's children.

Genevieve H. Ledbetter age 31 was the daughter of Dempsey T. Ledbetter and Emma W. Hockett age 54.  One record for Emma lists her surname as Garrett.  It's not 100% clear which name is correct and which is a transcription error, but I believe that Hockett is probably correct.
