I am looking for an Elkanah Cross that might have been the son of William Cross the Revolutionary War drummer boy. This Elkanah doesn't appear to be the one. This Elkanah was born in Virginia. If William the drummer boy had a son named Elkanah, then William's Elkanah would have been born in Tennessee. Elkanah's wife was Mary Margaret Hawkins. They were married in 1854 in Ralls County, Missouri. |
