Lea and Jane D.  In 1860, Catherine was the widow of John Wesley Peters.  John was the son of my fourth great grandparents Thomas Peters and Sarah (Sallie) England.  As such, John was the brother of my third great grandmother Zipporah Peters and John was also the brother of my third great grandmother Jane Peters.

Rutherford Peters was the son of James Peters and Rachel McCart, and the grandson of Tobias Peters Sr. and Elizabeth Rachel Scarborough.  I am descended from Henry Peters Sr.  Tobias Sr. and Henry Sr. are suspected of having been brothers, but this is not proven.
