Sarah C. Bryan age 32 was the daughter of my fourth great grandparents Thomas C. Bryan Sr. and Nancy Cate. As such, Sarah was the sister of my third great grandfather Peter H. Bryan. Luke Lee (Lee) Henry age 34 was the son of Major Hugh Henry and Mary Upton. Sarah and Lee were married about 1845, probably in Sevier County, Tennessee. However, the Sevier County courhouse burned in 1856, so records from the time Sarah and Lee were married are not extant. |
