Richard Jason Peters was the son of Silas Peters and Anna Powell, and the grandson of Tobias Peters Sr. and Elizabeth Rachel Scarborough. Richard was apparently named for his grandfather Richard Powell and for his uncle Jason Peters. Richard's first wife was Mary Elizabeth Brassfield. Mary apparently died before 1910. At that time, Richard married second Sarah Price. Richard's places of birth should have been listed as MO TN MO because Anna Powell was born in Missouri. |
