Jacob England and Dicy Ann Smith were my third great grandparents. They were born in North Carolina and they appeared on the 1950 Anderson County, Tennessee census. It is a little unusual, in my experience, for families to move back east in this fashion. Margaret age 6 was my second great grandmother Margaret Ann England who married my second great grandfather Alexander L. (Alex) Williamson. Alex and Margaret were married in Monroe County Tennesse on 18 Apr 1874. Jacob England died in 1863 in the Civil War. |
