I believe that Enoch George Bryan Sr. was the son of Cornelius Bryan Sr. of Rockingham County, Virginia. Cornelius was the son of John Andrew Bryan and the grandson of my seventh great grandfather Cornelius O'Bryan. So Enoch's father Cornelius Bryan was probably the first cousin of my fifth great grandfather Peter Bryan. (Close by were Henry Iman Sr. & Jr. and Joseph Linville and Joseph & Jacob Custer who probably all traveled from Rockingham County together. RJP) |
