Jasper D. (Jap) Prosise age 37 was the son of Benjamin Franklin (Frank) Prosise and Jemima Jane (Jane) Peters.  Jane Peters was the daughter of William F. Peters and Susannah Yarnell, and the granddaughter of my fourth great grandparents Thomas Peters and Sarah (Sallie) England.  As such, William F. Peters was the brother of my third great grandmother Zipporah Peters and also the brother of my third great grandmother Jane (Jenny) Peters, and Jemima Jane Peters was the first cousin of my second great grandmother Hulda Asberine (Asberine) Cross and also the first cousin of my second great grandmother Vesta Clay (Vestie) England.

Dora Hill age 36 was the daughter of Asbin Hill and Bettie Irvin.  Dora and Jap were married on 7 Jun 1911 in Anderson County.

In 1920, Corina Gertrude Irvin age 36 was the widow of Charles Franklin (Frank) Cross.  Corina and her two sons Irvin age 13 and Frank age 4 11/12 were living with Corina's parents Henry Irvin age 68 and Nancy E. Nelson age 61.  Corina's son Irvin was surely named after his mother's surname, and Corina's son Frank was surely named for his father.

Frank Cross deceased was the son of Charles W. Cross and Mary Ellen (Mollie) Worthington, the grandson of John Cross and Mary Ann (Polly) Shinliver, and the great grandson of Brittain Cross and Mary (Polly) Parks.  A great deal of conventional wisdom says that Brittain was the son of my fourth great grandfather William Cross the Revolutionary War drummer boy.  However, I do not think the conventional wisdom is correct.  I think that Brittain and William were more distantly related than that.  For example, they perhaps were first cousins once removed.

Grover Kidwell, but I don't know his first name, only his first initial.

William T. Messamore was the son of James Messamore (Jr.) and Susannah/Susan Ann (Annie) Altum, and the grandson of James Messamore (Sr.) and Sarah (Sary) Heath.  The elder James was the brother of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore.

Margaret J. (Maggie) Morrow age 70 was the second wife of Joshua F. Bray.  Joshua died between 1900 and 1910, and therefore Maggie was a widow at the time of the 1920 census.  Joshua was the son of Joshua J. Bray and Anne M. (Annie) Hall, and the grandson of my fourth great grandparents John Bray and Jane.  As such, Joshua J. Bray was the brother of my third great grandfather Edward Payne Bray, and Joshua F. Bray was the first cousin of my second great grandfather Joseph A. (Joe) Bray.

There are three Morrow siblings in this census entry, Margaret J. Morrow age 70, William Morrow age 67, and Hannah E. Morrow age 59.  Some researchers list them as the children of William Matthias Morrow and Annie Humbolt.  But I cannot confirm this information, and I'm doubtful that it is even correct.  There is a death certificate for William that says that he was the son of Matthew Morrow and Tennie Betheny.

I haven't been able to identify John T. Scarbro age 30.  John's wife was Alice Virginia Giles age 21.  Alice's mother was Annie Marie Morrow, another sibling of the aforementioned Margaret, William, and Hannah E. Morrow.  Annie's death certificate lists her parents as Matthew Morrow and Tennie Betheny.

John T. Scarbro and Alice Giles were married on 13 Jan 1916 in Anderson County.  Alice remarried to Thomas William Butler on 19 Feb 1921 in Knox County.
