 30-39 1 1801-1810 Thomas Helms

Elias (Eli) Helms age 05-09 married first Elizabeth Emeline (Emeline) Bryan.  Emeline was the daughter of William Bryan and Lucinda (Lucy) Cate.  William was the brother of my fourth great grandfather Thomas C. Bryan Sr.  Lucy was the sister of my fourth great grandmother Nancy Cate.  As such, Emeline was the double first cousin of my third great grandfather Peter H. Bryan.

Eli Helms age 16 married second Lucy H. Bryan.  Lucy was the granddaughter of William Bryan and Lucinda (Lucy) Cate.  Which is to say that Lucy H. Bryan was the daughter of James C (Jim) Bryan and Sarah Ann Gulledge.  So Eli's first wife and second wife were aunt and niece.

I have not been able to find a marriage record for Thomas Helms, and I do not know the maiden name of his wife Anna.
