Bayard Earl Yadon age 4 married my grandfather's sister Ella Mae Peters in 1923. "Bayard" is the correct spelling of his given name, but the family pronounces it "Baird". Bayard's parents were Jasper David Yadon age 40 and Mary Elizabeth McDonald age 40. Although the family was enumerated in Claiborne County in the 1900 census, oral family history suggests that Bayard was born in Grainger County. |
