Pauline McKinney age 4/12 married Omer Willie Jenkins on 13 Sep 1930 in Hamblen County.  It was Omer's second marriage, and his first wife was Lela Bray.  Lela was the daughter Robert Henry (Henry) Bray and Maude Elizabeth Hinds, and the granddaughter of my second great grandparents Joseph A. (Joe) Bray and Ferriba Salina (Salina) Moore.  As such, Uncle Henry was the brother of my great grandmother Mary Mahala Jane (Mahala or Haley) Bray, and Lela Bray was the first cousin of my grandmother Lola Ethel Williamson.

Pauline was the daughter of Pleasant McKinney age 31 and Hester Guinn age 24.

Rose Dell Hampton age 6 was the third wife of my grandfather Ernest Lester (Lester) Peters Sr.  Rose married first James Carl (Carl) MurphyLester's son Howard Raymond Peters married Rose's daughter Mary Aileen MurphyLester and Rose were both widowed when they married.  He was 72, and she was 63.

Rose was the daughter of James Wade Hampton age 52 and Francis Cornelia (Fannie) Waggoner age 40.  Notwithstanding the fact that this census entry says it was the first marriage for James Wade Hampton, I believe it was actually his second marriage.

William F. Bryan age 46 was the son of Thomas C. Bryan Jr. and Saline Adeline (Adeline) Huffaker, and the grandson of my fourth great grandparents Thomas C. Bryan Sr. and Nancy Cate.  As such, Thomas C. Bryan Jr. was the brother of my third great grandfather Peter H. Bryan. and William F. Bryan was the first cousin of my second great grandfather William Allen (Will) Bryan.

William F. Bryan married Mary E. (Mollie) Elder on 1 Jul 1886 in Jefferson County.  I don't know exactly when Mollie died, but it was before the 1910 census.  Mollie was the daughter of John Underwood Elder and Sarah Mount, the granddaughter of Charles Thomas Elder and Elizabeth Underwood, and the great granddaughter of my fifth great grandparents Thomas N. Underwood and Mary Ramey.  As such, Elizabeth Underwood was the sister of my fourth great grandfather Enoch Underwood, John Underwood Elder was the first cousin of my third great grandfather William Ramey Underwood, and Mollie Elder was the second cousin of my second great grandmother Malissa E. UnderwoodMalissa was the wife Will Bryan.
