Many researchers list William Martin Bray as the son of my third great grandparents Edward Payne Bray and Anna F. Messamore. Edward Payne Bray and Anna F. Messamore did have a son named William M. Bray who was born about 1844, but I have confirmed that this William M. Bray was a different one. I have found the death certificate for William Martin Bray which says that he was the son of John Bray and Manerva Ann Walker. William's first wife was Harriet Frances Fuller. |
