(Sandy) Cole was born in Burke County, North Carolina. I am seeking his parents. Sandy married Eveline after 1850. William, James, and Thomas were sons from a previous marriage. Robert, Sarah, and Augustus were children of Emeline.
I have looked at William Cole age 22 is a possibility for the William Cole who married Vesta Clay England in 1865 and who was my second great grandfather. But, alas, subsequent censuses demonstrate that this was not my William Cole.
