Eveline was Sandy's second wife, and William's stepmother. James F. Cole was William's brother. Robert F. Cole was William's half-brother. The unknown female age 16 was probably William's half-sister Sarah. G. was William's half-brother Augustus (Gus) Cole.
Based on his 1850 and 1860 census entries, I have looked at this William Cole is a possibility for the William Cole who married Vesta Clay England in 1865 and who was my second great grandfather. But, alas, this census in 1870 proves that this William Cole was not my William Cole.
