Emma Ella (Ella) Cox age 33 was the daughter of my second great grandparents John Tivis Cox and Nancy Ann Pierce.  As such, Ella was the sister of my great grandfather George Jackson Cox.

Joseph E. (Joe) Rimmer age 31 was Ella's second husband.  She had one daughter with her first husband, John Templin.  So the census is correct when it says that she had six living children, even though only five children were living with her.  At the time of the 1910 census, her daughter Lula Templin was living with John Tivis Cox in Tennessee.  I don't know why Lula didn't go to Texas with her mother and stepfather.  Also, I have found no record of the child who died prior to the 1910 census.

Joe Rimmer was the son of James Rimmer and Catharine Whitfield.
