Mary Catherine (Mollie) Bryan age 13, Charles William Brady Bryan age 10, and Julia Bryan age 7 were the children of Allen Dennis Bryan and Cassandra Frances (Cassie) Damron age 30. Allen died in 1963 in the Civil War, and Cassie married second John A. Wasson age 23. Allen Dennis Bryan was the son of William G. Bryan and Lucinda (Lucy) Cate. As such, Allen was the nephew of my fourth great grandfather Thomas C. Bryan Sr. and also the nephew of my fourth great grandmother Nancy Cate. Therefore, Allen was the double first cousin of my third great grandfather Peter H. Bryan. |
