I believe that this was Thomas Slayden, son of my fifth great grandparents Daniel Slayden and Nancy Shelton. If so, then Thomas was the brother of my fourth great grandfather William Slaydon. Thomas married his first cousin Rachel Slayden. Rachel was the daughter of Joseph Slayden and Mildred. |
