George Burnette Johnson age 2 1/2 married Ruby Helen (Helen) Harrison on 6 Sep 1942 in Hamblen County, Tennessee.  Helen was the daughter of Daniel (Dan) Harrison and Mary Emily Ethel (Ethel) Cox.  Uncle Dan was the son of my second great grandparents Joseph (Joe) Harrison and Susan A. Slaton.  As such, Uncle Dan was the brother of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison.  Aunt Ethel was the daughter of my grandparents George Jackson Cox and Clarissa Loretta (Rett) Nichols.  As such, Aunt Ethel was the sister of my grandmother Ruby Priscilla Cox.  So Helen was my father's first cousin as a Cox and his first cousin once removed as a Harrison.

George Burnette Johnson was the son of Robert H. Johnson age 38 and Hafford Beryl (Beryl) Burnette age 26.  It appears that the census enumerator heard "Beryl  and wrote it down as "Pryl".  George was born in Chicago on 20 Nov 1917, so the listing of his birthplace as Illinois is correct.
