Samuel Arthur Peters was always known as Arthur to friends and family. Occasionally, someone referred to him as Ott. He was enumerated as Arthur in the 1920 census and 1930 census, and as S. Arthur in the 1940 census. He was listed as Arthur in his courthouse marriage record.
