Frances Miller Loy, age 83 of Knoxville went to be with the her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 2, 2006. She was born on September 7, 1923 to the late Howard and Addie Miller. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lela Hunt and Bernice Van Dyke; brother, Jimmy Clevenger and step son, Donald T. Loy. Mrs. Loy is survived by her son, Ron Clark and wife Vicki of Titusville, FL; daughter, Claudia Ragsdale and husband Mike of Knoxville; grandchildren, Ronda Sapashe and husband Craig of Orlando, FL, Steven Clark and wife Rene of Winchester, Shelley Nettles and husband Michael of Titusville, Fl and David Ragsdale of New York City; additionally she leaves five great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. She worked in Oak Ridge during the World War II as a part of the Manhattan Project development and retired after 20 years of service at Cherokee County Club. Special appreciation is extended to the staff of Heritage Assisted Living, Park West Medical Center, and St Mary's Hospice for their kindness and compassion. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Monday at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton for graveside services and interment with Rev. Richard Edwards officiating.
