Matthews, Charlie Thomas "Hoppy" - age 51, of Kodak, died Tuesday, February 20, 2001. He was preceded in death by his father, Dillard Lawson Matthews. Survivors: sons; Jeremy Tipton and Brian Matthews; mother, Bobbie Matthews; sister and brother in law, Cricket and Charlie Adams; brothers and sisters in law, Bill and Ruth Matthews, Benny and Kathy Matthews, Carl and Liz Bryan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Reverend Carl Bryan and Reverend Ben Knight officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Friday in Fain Cemetery.
