Burial: after 5 August 1998, Tennessee-Georgia Cemetery, Ft. Oklethorpe, Walker County, Georgia. He was a long time school teacher. From Nancy Urban: He was very allergic to many medications. Daddy died at his home. He was hospitalized July 5, 1998 due to nausea and vomiting becuase he couldn't take many pain medications. While in the hospital, he had a spinal catheter implanted which greatly improved pain control. At this time, he was told that he had 3 weeks to live. My Daddy was the most wonderful person that I have ever known. Moves for Daddy during childhood. Rossville; Colorado; Big Springs, Tn; Rossville. His grandfather McFarland lived with them 1925-1935. Daddy began school in Brighton, Colorado at age 6. He lived in Brighton for 2-3 years. Cause of death: Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Diagnosed with diabetes in 1984. While putting up a backstop at Red Bank Junior High School in 1962, it fell on him breaking his back. He had back pain the rest of his life.
