Charles Nelson (Charlie) Peters21,92,93,94,95 was born on 10 August 1850 in Tennessee.94 The only known source for Charles' middle name is his mother's application for a Civil War widow's pension. The pension application states that Sarah McClure was the only person still living who was present at Charles' birth except for the mid-wife, who was living in Texas.
