Jones, Gilbert Guy, age 78 of Knoxville, died Wednesday, October 13, 1999 at his home. Member of Concord United Methodist Church, veteran of WWII, serving with distinction in the 283rd Combat Engineers; retired accounting supervisor with Union Carbide - K25 Plant at Oak Ridge. Survivors, wife, Roberta Harvey Jones, Knoxville; son and daughter in law, Gilbert Guy and Marilyn Jones II; grandchildren, Gilbert Guy Jones, III, John Conover Jones, Melissa Jones, all of Elm Grove, Wisconsin; sister, Alene Jones Young, Knoxville; nieces, Pamela Donaldson, Louisville, Ky., and Vickie Miller, Scottsdale, Arizona. Funeral Service 7:00 p.m. Friday Concord United Methodist Church with Rev. Nathan Malone and Rev.
