W. D. Peters Dies at 70
William Daily Peters, 70, a member of the board of directors of Weaver's Funeral Home Co., and a retired Southern railway car inspector, died yesterday at 2:30 p. m. at St. Mary's hospital. Mr. Peters' home was at 225 East Delaware avenue. He was chairman of the board of the deacons at Lonsdale Baptist church, a member of Columbia council, Junior Order United American Mechanics, also of Sycamore camp, W. O. W. He was a member of the Brotherhood or Railway Carmen for years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Delia Weaver Peters; one brother, A. E. Peters, of Scarbrough, Tenn.; also by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p. m. today at Lonsdale Baptist church. The Rev. H. L. Thornton, the Rev. S. W. Rutledge and the Rev. George J. Creswell will officiate. Burial will be in New Gray cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: W. M. Love, M. A. Craig, Dr. W. F. Christenberry, John Minton, J. Frank Johnson, L. A. Kossair. Flower girls will be members of his Sunday school class which he taught. The honorary pallbearers will be: A E. Ford, John W. Keith, Charlie Milligan, W. E. Russell, E. R. Hutchinson, Roy Cates, Tom Tillery and Herman Gaines, deacons and trustees of Lonsdale Baptist Church.

Mrs. Delia Peters. Funeral for Mrs. Delia Weaver Peters, 71, of 225 East Delaware Avenue, widow of W. D. Peters, who died Wednesday night at St. Mary's Hospital, will be at 2:30 p. m. tomorrow at Lonsdale Baptist Church. The Rev. H. L. Thornton and the Rev. George J. Creswell will officiate. Burial in New Gray Cemetery. The body will be taken from Weaver's to the home this morning. Pallbearers: A. E. Ford, W. M Love, Dr. W. T. Christenberry, W. B.
