Wells, Mrs. Anna Paralee Burton - age 98, of Knoxville, passed away 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 10, 1995, at her home. She was a member of Zion Methodist Church, Knoxville. Preceded in death by her husband, William Hancher Wells; daughter, Wilma Wells Clabough. Survivors: son, Melvin Warren Wells, South Clinton, Tenn., Jean Wells Taylor and Irma L. Wells, both of Knoxville; eleven grandchildren. Funeral services 11 a.m. Wednesday, Cooke Mortuary Chapel, Rev. George W. Armbrister officiating. Interment will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bill Burton, Burl Wells, Richard Burton, Cecil Edward Clabough, Ace John Carroll III, Don Walker. Friends may call at their convenience Tuesday afternoon at Cooke Mortuary, Maynardville.
