Joseph & his wife were on the 1830 Morgan Co, Ill census ages 60-70 with two sons ages 20-30. They migrated from Morgan Co Tn to Morgan Co Ill ca 1830 and in the spring of 1831 to Macoupin Co, Ill.Joseph and family could have been in Knox Co, Tn by 1799???they were in Rhone Co, Tn at least by 1809.

Pension for Joseph England which started 13 Aug 1833. Applied for in Anderson Co, TN. He was a Private in NC line, received 63.33 annually. Total received 189.99. Says he was 71 years of age. This may not have been the same Joseph as this one was in NC line and this Joseph was from VA>TN.
