Death: 6 August 1864, age 39, Utio Creek near Atlanta, Georgia. William England was in Co. E 8th Tennessee Infantry (Union) and died in battle on 6 Aug 1864. Norma Matthews called Fort Mitchell, in Seale Alabama, who now is the repository for all Marietta, Georgia National Cemetery records. The person said he had been buried at Utio Creek, then reinterred in Marietta. William is buried in Section F Grave #5363 Marietta National Cemetery, 500 Washington Avenue, Marietta GA 30060.
