Parker J. married a young lady by the name of Palmer. Her father was a General in the Confederate Army in the Civil War. Parker J. had one son. His name was Lucien.

Lucien, son of Park J. Nichols, enlisted in the Confederate Army at age thirteen and was a drummer boy. Years later he returned to East Tennessee and stayed with his Uncle Wyatt F. Nichols for a few years. He later went to the state of Oregon. I do not know whom he married or if he had any children.
