I am searching for information about Mary S. DERRICK of Roane Co who married Rutherford PETERS of Morgan Co. Rutherford was born about 1826 to James and Rachel MCCARTT PETERS. Apparently he migrated to Texas and died there since I found his sons in the Morgan County records appointing an attorney to handle their interest in his estate. Does anyone know what happened to Rutherford and Mary?
