Ford, Edna (Tincy) - of Cocoa Beach, passed away Friday at her home. She lived in Lenoir City, Tenn. until 1965 when she moved to Cocoa Beach. She was a Cape Canaveral Hospital volunteer for over twenty-five years, avid bridge player and a joy to be around. She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Ford in 1997. She is survived by her son, Michael Ford of Macon, Ga.; daughters, Nancy Ford Brasfield of Arlington, Va. and Cocoa Beach, Susan Abercrombie of Cocoa Beach; three sisters, Toni Schmitt of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Glenna Shaddock of North Carolina, and Joyce Pappas of Knoxville, Tenn.; and brother, Ben Peters of Knoxville; grandchildren, Stacy Brasfield, Ronnie Brasfield, Jeffrey Brasfield, Chris Ford, Gerry Ford, Renee Abercrombie, Kim Abercrombie, and Don Abercrombie; great grandchildren, Maggie, Will, Courtney, Kindal, Tory, Ben and Carrie Ellen. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Cocoa Beach. Clyde Newman Ford, 82, 138 E. Osceola Lane, Cocoa Beach, died Saturday, Aug. 23. Mr. Ford was an electrician for Boeing at Kennedy Space Center. Born in Lenoir City, Tenn., he moved to Central Florida in 1965. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cocoa Beach. He was a member of the Avery Masonic Lodge 593. He was a Free and Accepted Mason and a Boy Scout leader. Survivors: wife, Edna P.; son, C. Michael, Nashville, Tenn.; daughters, Nancy Brassfield, Arlington, Va., Susan Abercramble, Nashville; brother, W.D.
