Phillips, Mrs. Charlene Galloway Corn - age 96, of The Burrville Community, passed away January 26, 1999 in The Morgan County Life Care Center, Wartburg. She was born June 12, 1902. She was preceded in death by husbands, William Corn and Loran A. Phillips; parents, Samuel A. and Mary Peters Galloway of the Burrville Community. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by sisters, Emma Lewallen, Edith Hughes, Carrie Curry, Lillis Pemberton; brothers, George, Evans R. and Samuel C. Phillips. Surviving: sisters-in-law, Emma Galloway of Burrville, TN and June Galloway of Oneida, TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening 8:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home Chapel, Sunbright with Rev. A.J. Alderman officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. in The Galloway Family Cemetery in Burrville. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home Sunbright.
