William Carlos (Carlos) Bryan was the son of Silas Amberson Bryan and Amanda Melzina (Mandy) Slaton.  Carlos is known to have moved to California, and he died in California in 1967.

Uncle Silas was the brother of my great grandfather William Harley (Harley) Bryan and Aunt Mandy was the daughter of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore.  As such, Aunt Mandy was the niece of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton.

John Thomas Slaton of Jefferson County, Tennessee was the son of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore.  As such, he was the nephew of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton.  John Thomas Slaton was born 7 Feb 1876 and died 27 Jul 1945.

Mary Roberta Strain was the daughter of Robert Strain and Linnie Brunner.  Linnie Frances Slaton was named for her grandmother Linnie Brunner.  Robert Marion (Marion) Slaton was named for his grandfathers Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Robert Brunner.  William Porter (Porter) Slaton was named for his uncle Joseph Porter (Port) Slaton.

William Moses (Will) Slaton of Jefferson County, Tennessee was the son of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore.  As such, he was the nephew of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton.

Will Slaton first wife was Mae Reneau who died in 1909.  Mae Reneau had one child, James Arthur (Arthur) Slaton.  Arthur was raised by his aunt and uncle, Nancy Careen (Carrie) Reneau and John W. Hamm.

Will Slaton's second wife was Lydia Belle (Belle) Hanely.  The children listed in this census entry were all Belle's children.

Will Slaton later left California and lived most of his life in Manchester, Ohio.  Perhaps that is where is wife's parents were from.  William Moses (Will) Slaton was born 9 Apr 1878 and died Dec 1963.
