Amy's parents were Robert D. (Rob) Buckner and Martha Jane Parks.  A third daughter Eva was born in 1900, but Eva was born after the 1900 census enumeration.

This census entry is a bit of a wild goose chase.  There was a connection between the Colvin family and the Peters family of Union County.  See for example the 1900 census for Latah County, Idaho.  Nevertheless, there seems to have been no connection between the Peters family in Union County and my Peters family in Anderson County.

The Peters/Colvin connection was that Herbert B. Colvin was the son of Dr. Minyard Colvin and Jeanette Peters, according to the records of Roberts Funeral Home in Knoxville.  I haven't yet managed to sort out all the details, but I also have Jeanette Peters listed as Jeanette E. Fields.

Joseph Elvin Moore was my third great grandfather.  He was the son of George Washington Moore and Winiford PeakJoseph's wife Elizabeth Braden died in 1881.

One thing looks a little funny about this census entry.  Joseph's daughter Winifred Mahala (Winny) Moore never married.  Her age of 50 in this census is too young, but that is not unusual.  She was really born in 1846, and numerous earlier census entries support the earlier birth date.  I have her birth date listed as 4 Dec 1846.  The December date comes from a transcription of her tombstone.  Given that this census entry says she was born in April, I wonder if the tombstone transcription has the month and day reversed, and maybe she was born on 12 Apr 1846 rather than 4 Dec 1846 (4/12/1846 rather than 12/4/1846).

All previous records for Joseph were from Anderson County.  I don't know when or why he moved to Union County.  He, his wife, and his daughter Winifred Mahala Moore were all buried in Anderson County.  I cannot find Joseph in the 1891 enumeration of male voters, neither in Anderson County nor in Union County.  I will probably have to check Anderson County and Union County tax records to try to determine when he moved to Union County.  However, unless he owned land, he would not have appeared in the tax records because he was too old to pay a poll tax.
