Robert E. "Bob" Ailey, age 91 of Jefferson City, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge. He retired after 23 years in the Air Force, and semi-retired farmer, and school bus driver. He is preceded in death by his wife, Polly Ailey, daughter-in-law, Jenny Bullis, son-in-law, Roger Paschal, parents, Arville and Alma Ailey, and sister-in-law, Tina Ailey. He is survived by son, Joseph (Kelly) Ailey, daughter, Kathy Paschal, grandsons, John (Christy) Ailey, Jason (Darla) Ailey, Clark Paschal, and Blake (Michaela) Paschal, step-granddaughter, Emily Neblett, great-grandchildren, Matthew, Alex, Maddie, Jason, and Millie, step-great-grandchildren, Jonas, Alice, and Eli, brother, Denver Ailey, nephews, Randy (Lettie) Ailey, and Dan Ailey. Ailey, Mrs. Mary (Molly) Carey - 76, widow of Henry H. Ailey, who died four days ago, passed away at Milligan Clinic at noon Thursday after a lingering illness. Member of Ailey's Chapel Church. Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Bell Burchfield, Dandridge, Mrs. Walter Large, Mrs. Ida Denton. Miss Frieda Ailey, all of Jefferson City; sons, Bill of Sevierville, Charles, of Newport Arville and J. V., of Jefferson City; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. J. C. Fain, Sevierville, Mrs. H. L. Broyles, Mrs. D. B. Broyles, Mrs. Flora Caldwell, Mrs. Bob Poole; brother, William Carey, all of Mt. Holly,N. C. several nieces and nephews. Double funeral services, 3 p.m. Friday. Farrar's chapel, Rev. J. B. Ben and Christy's twins Sarah Katherine and Hannah Grace were born and died 11/13/2019 after 28 weeks in utero. They both suffered from a severe viral infection before they were born.

Green - Services for William, 78, who died at Oak Ridge at 8:15 p. m. Thursday, will be held at Bierley’s Chapel in Lenoir City at 2 p. m. today. Burial will be in the city cemetery. Survivors: widow, Phenie Hipps; three sons, Avery and Woody, in the Air Forces; Rufus, in the Marines; two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Madison and Mrs. Wilma Sliger, Oak Ridge; four brothers, Mose, Knoxville; Henry, Avery and Lee, Lenoir City; three sisters, Mrs. Oddie Kagley and Mrs. Rosa Milton, Lenoir City; and Mrs. Geneva Woods, Alabama. The Rev. J. D. Babb will be officiating pastor. The body will lie in state at Bierley’s until the funeral service.
