Pension record of Nancy Jones Cox, widow of Horton Cox

Documents 1-10 out of 10.

Transcribed by Tara Painter, 1 May 2002.

Note: There are several discrepancies in these records. It appears that
Horton Cox's original enrollment in Co. A 12th Regt. Tenn. Cav. did
not make it into record (he would only have served the few months
between March and July 1863). There are several witnesses to attest
to his enrollment in Co. A 12th, but his widow was only able to be
pensioned in 1869, after four years of filing papers, when his
enrollment was established based on his nephew Horton Cox's service
in Co. D 1st Reg. Tenn. Cav.
