It appears that after selling this land he removed to Anderson County, Tennessee. The names Jacob, Joseph, John, and Austin England, and Christopher and Austin Choate all appear on the Anderson County tax list for 1802. John's estate was settled in Anderson County 16 July 1817, Zipporah England, administratrix. Papers for settlement of Zippora's estate were submited 30 Oct 1852, and settlement was made in the Anderson County, Nov. 1852 term of court. The report of the sales and inventory of personal goods was dated 3 Feb 1851. Zippora had owned several parcels of land in Anderson County.

In the 1802 Anderson County tax list, Capt. McCamey's Compy included the following individuals: Austin Choat (1 poll), another Austin Choat (1 poll), Christopher Choat (1 poll), Jacob England (1 poll), Joseph England (1 poll), and John England (1 poll).

The 1778 Washington County, Tennessee tax list includes the following individuals: Austin Choate, Christopher Choate, Edward Choate, Richard Choate, Thomas Choate, Charles England, John England, and Joseph England. I wonder if John England sold his land in Montgomery County, Virginia after moving to Tennessee, or if this was a different John England.

On April 18, 1838, Vesta Zipporah Choate filed suit to recover her dower rights from John England's estate and was awarded 66-3/4 acres from the estate. The defendants in that suit were her children, Titus and Milly (Amelia) England, and Spencer Keith (her widowed son-in-law who was married to the daughter unnamed. Since her name would have been named if she was alive, it is assumed that she had died, but we don't know if it was Jane, the 2nd daughter who was not accounted for with a date of death. It could not have been Vesta Zipporah, who died in 1849 in TN (married England), and could not have been Susannah, who married Joseph Worthington and d. 21 Oct 1850 in TN, and could not have been Millie, who was listed as a separate person in the suit, and who married Jesse C. Cross.)"
