    Harrell, Albert Edgar (A. E.) - age 79 of Powell passed away Friday, November 23, 2007 at his home. He was retired from Veterans Steel Inc. (E.S.I.) in 1991 and a member of the Operating Engineer Local No. 917. He bowled in a senior league at Fountain Lanes. Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Reba Harrell; wife, Joyce Yadon Harrell; sister, Rhonda Hixson; brother, Jack Harrell. Survivors: children, Carolyn and Bill Homerding, Edith and Bill Hopper, Jean Minck, Martha Rushing, Reta and Dennis Weiss, Ted and Denise Harrell, Amy Louella Tidler; 18 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Lou Bush, Lela Williams, Hazel and Roy Drinnen, Sue and Sollie Hancock, Barbara and Kenneth Wolfe, Kaye and David Shelby and Faye Chandler; brother, Jerry and Vickie Harrell. Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Tindell and Rev. David Holt officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:15 A.M. Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home and proceed to Roseberry Cemetery for the interment at 12:00 Noon. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Martha is survived by her husband, Richard Rushing; sons: Richard Rushing, Jr., Robert Rushing and Ryan Rushing; sisters: Carolyn Homerding, Jean Minck, Reta Weiss and Amy Welch; brother, Ted Harrell; niece, Jennifer Hawk; great-nephews; Jacob and Justin Sandino; and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 28, 2012 at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in Confederate Cemetery, Alvin, Texas with David Wright officiating. Arrangements under the direction of the Scott Family.
