| Obituary | ![]() Tadlock, Bobby Lynn - age 76 passed away at Hillcrest North on June 5, 2009, after a courageous battle with Metastatic Melanoma. He was a member of Fountain City United Methodist Church, the Christian Home Builders Class and Bright Hope Lodge. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines. He was preceded in death by parents, Taylor B. and Rhoda Koontz Tadlock; and brother, Bill Tadlock. He is survived by wife, Lorieta Peters Tadlock; son, Dr. Barry Lynn Tadlock, of Athens, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Elbert and Susie Tadlock; sister-in-law, Margaret Tadlock; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Ruth Bryan and Paul and Irene Tarver; sister-in-law Helen Peters; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a manager of Sterchi Brothers Furniture Store and Heilig-Meyers Furniture Store and in recent years was associated with Gentry-Griffey Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 5 pm Sunday at Fountain City Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Whedbee, Rev. Don Hanshew, Rev. Melissa Smith, Rev. Gordon Ridenour, Rev Priscilla Bryan and Rev. David Peters officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fountain City Methodist Church to the fund of your choice. Honorary pallbearers will be the Christian Home Builders Class. Pallbearers will be the staff of Gentry-Griffey Funeral Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 pm Monday at Greenwood Cemetery for graveside service.
